Low mileage WO engine which has sat under a tarp in someone's yard for a few years;
Turned out to be low mileage, when I pulled it apart the internals were like new. New bearings and seals and a lick of paint later;

Oh yes. It's very grungy. The top of the engine bay looks like Kurt's ceiling
I'm no great fan of lawnmower engines so this will soon be off to a new home

It's in the Westy now, and I've heard it roar, but I need a new throttle cable if it's to idle at less than 3K rpm. Picking that up today. _________________ 2000 M Roadster

Great Job!!!!
There's a group of Volks getting together tonight at Fresh Freeze in Eureka to look at each others cars, talk shop and maybe all go out on a little cruise together later. If everything checks out and you can work it in your schedule, you should bring it on by! |
