Has anyone put in an airbag suspension into their bus? I'm thinking about doing it to my 72 and was wondering what all was involved. I know you would have to fabricate some kind of holders for the bags or something. If anyone has done this and likes or dislikes it let me know.

I have talked to some people who are doing this right now through e-mail. I bet real soon there will be a kit come out that will just bolt right on. Also look at www.maxhydraulics.com under air suspension in the forum. He has some pics of a bus done. He made some kind of bar that replaces the front splines so the suspension free rides and the bags do it all. In the rear has taking out the torsion bars and has the bags mounted as well. I'm waiting for a bolt on kit and from the people I have talked to they should be coming soon. Now I just hope the price isn't crazy. If thats the case I'll just build my own then. Look under air ride suspension in the search of this site and you will see some pics of some done in the rear. The front seems to be the hard part, The back kinda looks easy if you have the time to build the brackets.

Another idea is go to www.road-relics.com There is a guy there that does this for a living...or so I have been told. That is where I was gonna go to get mine bagged.
