so i was replacing my front shoes and cylinders today. got everything back together on the passenger side, and i was going to bleed them. but now the pedal is as hard as a rock, and no pressure is going to the front. the back brakes work just enough to stop the car, kinda. why would the front circut close off like that?

Try breaking the connection where the steel
line connects to the flex line then try the brake pedal again, if you have some pedal
movement and there is fluid coming out of
the fitting chances are the flex line is collapsed on the inside and will have to be replaced and I would suggest replacing both front lines at the same time.
