I've seen a few busses with the wheel and tire mounted on the front with no cover, but with a hubcap.
Mine has a cover and mounts backwards, leaving me no place to snap on a hubcap. What mods need to be done to get it to mount on there with the outside facing out, so I can snap on the hubcap?

.....this is probably a really stupid question.

You need a different style of mount. All the ones that pivet/bolt to the nose have backwards wheels. The ones that allow forward facing wheels mount standing up on the bumper, farther away from the nose. I do not know of the brand name....not sure if they are even being sold anymore. I have pics of one on my computer.

Sure, please send pics if you could. I'm interested in the longer bolt option if it's possible, any info on that appreciated.

It,s been about 3 years since i had a bus with the mount on the front....but if i remember it seemed like you could rplace the three bolts that hold the spare on with some longer ones. if they dont come off possible you could cut and weld new ones in or cut/drill and insert longer ones.
depends on your resources. just an idea.

I liked the tire cover and reversed rim on
one of my buses, Only because I could 'stash' things in there and have an airbrushed cover on it.
