Did 73! till 79' westy's always come with the specilal side windows?
You know, 3 piece glace with alu moldings.

Yep all Westys had the Jalousie(louvered) side windows. ASI/Riviera campers had the sliders as well as some of the other camper conversion companies. Many people decide to replace the Jalousie's with the sliders because the rivets that hold the panes in the frames get loose and rattle and dont seal as well. You can buy complete seal kits to rebuild the Jalousie windows from a number of online vendors.

When I was younger, I thought the jalousie windows on my Westy were the ugliest things ever...until I opened the windows while camping in the rain! Plenty of air, no water.

I think just about all the vendors sell the kits. Try www.cip1.com , www.gowesty.com for Westy specific parts, www.busdepot.com . These are all places that I have ordered from and have had very good service from all.
