EGR for smog

I just bought a 79' 2.0L fuel injection in SoCal Orange county. It has no EGR. I am looking for one to pass Smog. Where should I go to find one?

If it is a 79 CALIF version bus, it does not/ never had EGR.

If you have a Federal modal, then you need a filter, pipe and mechanical valve. Filters can be found new at Bus Depot, the pipe and valve are junkyard finds only. There is also a linkage on the valve that connects it to the throttle. It's delicate so be careful removing it.

The linkage needs to be adjusted so the valve is closed at idle and WOT. If it's open at idle, then your idle and vacuum will be low and you'll fail the test.
