Can somebody tell me the difference in pin location between 94mm "A" pistons and "B" pistons? I guess that that is the only diff between them.
Thanks |

the only difference I can note about A&B pistons, is the A are for 69-74 stroke, the B is for 78-84 stroke _________________ 68 Bug totaled one day will live again

I'm no expert but I'm guessing the spike during cold running has everything to do with the roofing tar(20-50) in the crankcase. |

A pistons have a wrist pin height of 39.6mm from wrist pin centerline to piston crown and Bs are 34mm. _________________ John Bates

It also looks like the skirt is shorter on the "B" piston.
Thanks everybody. |

I has to be shorter. As the crank stroke increases, the piston is pulled closer to the crank at bottom dead center and the piston needs to clear the crank cheeks/counter weights. _________________ Bad News Racing 2018 NORRA 1000 3rd in Class
