Taking a 1/2 day today to finish packing. Then leaving early AM from Bisbee - heading to Safford - then up through NM instead of taking old 666 (hwy 191) up. Stopping in Luna NM for the night to visit my uncle - then heading through Alpine, Nutrioso, Eager Springerville, Pinetop/Lakside, ShowLow - to the site. May stop in Greer for breakfast on Friday. Hope to be in before noon Friday.
Heading home through Globe, Salt River, and Tucson - then Sonoita - to SV and then Home. Gonna be one long trip. _________________ Ryan

Pulled into town at 9pm - though not in one piece. Bus was on a tow truck - one failed fuel pump. No worries tho - and one heck of a good time. Hope the "pups" didn't keep anyone awake. _________________ Ryan

thanks for a great time! had sooo much fun. night time frisbee was awesome....although I am a little bruised this time from it Kayaking and swimming at Willow Springs is my favorite pass time and the rains held off long enough for us to do that. Beautiful setting....and I got a good night sleep despite being next to "The Only Ones" my last image of them was after the hail stopped and there were huge puddles the guy with the new tatoo on his back was doing a belly flop into a huge puddle turned pond in his jeans. Awesome! We will see you next year for sure! _________________ 66 Deluxe 13 window

We took the long way back to Bullhead by going through Payson, Strawberry, Mormon Lake, etc to Flagstaff, (Added about 10 miles more but probably an extra hour to the trip. The view was worth the extra time! Our fuel pump started failing near Flagstaff so we stopped and put a new one on to avoid breaking down. Spent the night in Bullhead then drove in to Orange County today for a total of 1,216 miles round trip.
Had a great time thanks to all for a great campout! Debby is in the process of downloading pictures so we hope to have them up soon! _________________ Bdul Bug - '67 Beetle

Thanks for another great Mogollon Madness. The most madness happens when it rains. . . but it was all good. I'm glad there was at least one crazy doing belly flops. We were busy digging trenches to divert water away from the camp areas.
Note to self: do NOT park next to where a puddle in the road exists, specifically where both sides of the road meet in their inclines. This is a sign that if it rains, water will drain from the big puddle down hill into your camping area. Lesson learned. Who would've thunk that physics would come into play? ha ha. Regardless, it was a great time.
Pics up soon. . . _________________ ____________

Many thanks to the Fahrvergnattix and Horzontally Opposed for putting on such a wonderful event! We had a blast!
Good company, good food, good times, and good games (Thanks for the Texas Hold Em lesson... ...It would have been interesting to see who won that poker game!)...It is always a pleasure to camp with the AZ, NM crew!
A little rain didn't keep all from having fun, and most stayed dry...Especially this familar split...I award this "Most creative use of a screen room"...

This once again was just a great weekend! Me and my son had a great time ! It was cool to camp with ALL of our AZ friends and I made some new ones too! That storm came up quick! And man did we get flooded! It was awesome! My son (6) was quick to roll down the canvas on the poptop but not strong enough to pull it closed or the cargo doors all the way, but he tried! The bus was full of water, and it was a crazy blast... I think New Mexico buses like adventure like that! It was funny on Sunday to see eveyones stuff layed out by the road like some kind of yard sale in the mountains!
Notice the buses in the background, still open. (pic by Lou)

After the water was lower (pic by Lou)
Cell phone pic Aftermath:
Thanks again to ALL involved that put it on, we will awlays be back! Also thanks for making the final raffle at 10am so we could get on the road! That was a great idea!
On the trip home our 4 buses took the 260 east to the 36 up to the 117 and then caught I40 for the last 65 miles. It was the same distance and not much of a longer drive at all! And man it was BEAUTIFUL!
