Karl, where is your sense of compasion? The picture made me sick. I could not imagine a tree falling on my Vanagon and then having to part it out on Samba. Crying or Very sad

I suppose something so terrible almost calls to be met with laughter--that's about the only way something so dreadful can be met with a smile on your face.

It is horrible--I hope the money made on selling the parts will help Ron get another faithful friend, restore it, love it, and take it on more and better wonderful journeys.

We do miss the good machines when they're gone...
