I've been to the 2005 edition of this event (as a visitor) and it was not only the largest vintage VW show in the world, to my opinion it was also the best VW meeting ever around! For those who still don’t know, Hessisch has overtaken Bad Camberg as the premier Vintage VW Show in the world... The organisation is close to perfect, the location in the old town is well chosen and the high quality of the cars makes Hessisch the ultimate VW meeting for all fans of original Vintage Volkswagens.
If you want to join in for the 2009 edition, don't wait too long, things are going quite fast for this one! I've signed up with my Type 34 this weekend and I'm already car number 200...! Still over a year to go, though
