new to the board. been doing research for some time now. i think i found an empi imp body. looks to be in decent shape, needs paint and a few pop rivet holes fixed. it is on a rusted out junker(new england weather). it has the side podes and rear valance. the valance has one large crack but i dont think i would use it anyway. i was told they are a longer body and the frame needs to be shortend to a different length, does anyone have an answer for this? the frame is rusted and broken so getting a good measurement is not an option. the guy wants $750. for the whole car. i might be able to get a couple pats off of it(the front end, axles, etc) but im not sure. is it worth that kind of money or should i pass on this one ? thanks for any and all help. Keith
p.s. this will not be my last ?, so get ready. |

The pods are very rare so that makes it worth some extra cabbage so I think you are good on the price. Imps required the pan be shortened by 12 something inches rather than the 14 or so of the Manx type |
