Hello vw's friend, I bought this steering wheel for my 58 standard Beetle, do you know which car this steering wheel is mounted ?
It's the same as the original, but it is 13.77 outer measuring.
It's keyed steering wheel.

In cm the original standard steering wheel is 40cm, and my steering wheel 35cm.
I'm so happy to have a small standard steering wheel, I search the car whith have this. |

These smaller diameter Steering Wheels were very common on smaller german cars from the 50´s & 60´s like Goggomobil or Lloyd Alexander.
The keyed hup is different to the ones on VW busses.
But maybe someone can put some work into it and transplant suitable parts from a beetle or bus. |

I’ll piggyback onto this forum! Can anyone tell me what vehicle this steering wheel fits? Is there a technical site listing all the part numbers? Thanks in advance.

^^^ That doesn't help one bit with part numbers...
That wheel, number 415-651-64-71 looks more like a reproduction steering wheel for a Karmann Ghia. A typical '64 Bug/Ghia wheel would have the following part number: 311-415-651 A. Let me explain:
The ...415-651 leaves off a "311-" in the beginning- and an "A", "B" or "D" form the end of a complete part number- which takes the wheel through subtle changes from '64 to '71. Thus whoever reproduced this wheel used the generic 6 digits to cover the span of years 64-71 and the round KG logo on the left is from the repro company. _________________
