Here's the worst IRS install I have ever seen. It was dropped off at our shop to have us look it over and to see if we could fix the camber. The only thing I see we could do to it would be to cut it all back out, replace the sections of the trans horns that were hacked out for who knows what reason, and redo the whole IRS install. Owner says a porsche shop down in central FL did the install. You would think they would do better work than this since people trust them with their porsches.

Not going to find out, but from the looks of it, if you dumped out the clutch, the whole lump would fall out. Rolling Eyes

Yeah, except that little bit of camber is happening with the truck in the air with the suspension totally extended, there should be no camber then.!
This is my buddies truck and it was just too much for us to try and fix at home. The rear suspension is binding bad, there is no travel whatsoever, the only suspension is the air in the tires...
You should see what the "narrowed beam" looked like, total piece, I should have taken pictures of it but it was soo bad it went out in the bulk trash.
It sports an NOS '67 beam with dropped spindles now.

More pics of the haggard mess, their IRS brackets fell off with a few blows of a hammer:

We wondered why they welded the torsions to the spring plate, I had an idea. Probably tried to put some sort of air ride/coilovers for suspension and in turn decided to grind off the splines. Confused

dave started putting the structure back in the frame horns.

We didn't completely grind off their welds, but dave did section in the correct gauge metal back in the their cut outs.

I sourced up some new torsions so it should be back rolling on all fours tomorrow.[/img]

Yeah, it looks better in picts than in real life. The cab is pretty good but the paint on the bottom of the rockers is a little thin and there are runs in the clear. The gates were painted at a different time than the rest of the truck and therefore the color is way off and the moron didn't continue with the silver on them... Confused Overall it is a fairly solid truck but there is some poor workmanship on some of the repairs. Once all the suspension issues are taken care of and the mechanicals are done, it will need to be redone properly.
