I replaced the dash in my '68 and very carefully labled, and diagramed all the wires to my instrument panel. Now reassmbled, my oil light won't come on when the key is in the first position. and my fuel guage bounces when the lights are on. It's fine with no lights, just moves a 1/4" either way back and forth when the lights are on.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like a ground somewhere check all the grounds, check to see with a test light to see if your getting any juice coming to the oil sending unit in the back if so then its your sonnection there if not time to test under the dash. Good luck, test lights are key. anthony
