It's probably unusual to see either that 124 or a T3 on the present day streets of Germany. Both chassis were in production during roughly the same era. |
Probably not in Germany, but that 124 will be pounding the pavement in 50 years time.

Cindy & I went up to her place in Santa Barbara to hide out from Halloween. Walked the dogs over to the Marina, saw 5 Vanagons in the parking lot.
Had a For Sale sign: " '84 Runs Perfect $16,500".

As seen by incline village last night in south lake. Pardon the bad footage, but I was driving and it was dark. Just past cave rock.
He has a trailer, I made the comment to my lady that he likely had a nice ride to pull a trailer.

Saw this nice Westy today 2 blocks from my place in Houston. Met the nice young couple traveling through town while they stopped at the Menil Collection (museum). The Menil is certainly one of the must see places (always free) if you’re ever in Houston. The neighborhood is surprisingly cool and safe for a night’s stay even though just 1 mile from downtown. There is a beautiful park and I regularly see travel “rigs” in the same exact spot (thanks to iOverlander) outside my front door. Noticed they had a brake light out so I hooked ‘em up with a spare and they were on their way. Safe travels.

My neighbor sees me out back this morning and hollers at me...”there’s another one of your van thingys parked across the street”. So two days in a row a Westy at the Menil park in front of my place in Houston. 1984 full camper. The owner from Florida.
