I came upon this scene when I went to pick up my Westy from Louis Foreign Auto Repair in Seattle today. Mine is the one behind the Doka, in front of the Eurovan. Any of you own one of the others parked there on Roosevelt Way?

Saw one yesterday in the middle of Ohio westbound on I-70 west of Columbus, a late model maroon hardtop with roof rack and Rocket box, black bra and factory alloys, if my one rapid glance was accurate. No time to get the camera out.

You missed us on the Port Townsend to Whidbey Island and Whidbey to Mukilteo today. On the last leg we met a lady and her miniature dachshund in a sweet 91 Westy.

Drove to one of my favorite parks to take in some fresh air and saw that I was already there. Oh, wait, that's not me, A van across the parking lot, same year, same color, but as it turns out not a complete clone: it was a Syncro Westfalia. Piloted by someone who couldn't be long out of high school, if that. It bore the scars of many adventures but it was good to see it on the road and in the hands of a young steward.
