I saw a bunch on our two week Croatia trip. I didn't get too many pictures without power poles, so I'll spare ya...
I did stop long enough to get a pic of this odd thing:
But as I got closer, I discovered it was a "Hoaxwagen":

Another one spotted in Whittier, Alaska. Either getting on or off the ferry. I think it had Oregon plates.

Just got back from a month long, 3,400 mile trip up and down the west coast. I have seen MANY, including some rather famous ones. Make the pilgrimage to GW, VC and others.
I came here to say one thing - keep the VW camaraderie going! On this trip alone, I had many beers with fellow VW campers, and sent (and received) many a wave and peace signs driving past one another. What we have is very special - keep it going, everyone! Makes the pain of driving a vintage VW that much more bearable.

I went to a local shop here in Tijuana, and saw a nice looking Westfalia. The owner wasn't there, but it appeared to have a Ford engine in it, with some custom work done.
