Saw four today in about an hour and within a few hundred yards of each other…but I was not in mine. Embarassed

Two burgundy ones, a blue one, and a white one, all around Green Lake, Seattle, on this fresh fall afternoon.

Who was up on the TAIL OF THE DRAGON in TN/NC
Very Nice White Westy. This is the only Vanagon we saw in our 1700 mile trip sofar.

2800 miles down south and only 1 Vanagon seen diffidently not a Hot Bed for Vanagons.

France & Italy for 6 days. I have NOT seen even ONE T3

But I rode in two nice T5 Californias (Westfalia). 6spd diesel, one was 4-motion.

Strangely disappointing, isn't it? We were in Europe three weeks, from just into Denmark down to south of Lyons. Netherlands/Germany/Denmark/Germany/France/Belgium/Netherlands and saw maybe five in all that time - and we were driving one.

We saw more 2CVs, for crying out loud!
