Looks like we have a collector in town. Found myself in the part of town where I know of a guy's Sube-powered hardtop and a Westy, and it looks like he has himself another Sube-powered hardtop, this one a blue '90 automatic. His burgundy conversion is pretty beat but this one looks nice. He has a big back yard so this could continue for a while.

No pix, but I saw several last month in Alaska including one on the Dalton Highway, and numerous others in July in eastern Oregon. Vanagons easily outnumbered Eurovans, more Westys than tintops. Also saw a gray TDI Motors EVC in Madras OR.

Spotted this one in Martha's Vineyard a few weeks back on my first trip since the bostig upgrade.

Was out taking the freshly burped baby out for a spin and came across a new Westy in the neighborhood. There are three Westy's in the West Mt. Airy neighborhood of Philly, within 4 blocks of each other!

I saw one posted here w/ five ports. Compressed air and propane were the additions in that case.

I only use the shore power on mine. If I paint my van at some point I'll consider removing all the ports and welding them closed. Or not, just thinking out loud.

Don't ever post here because vanagons and Westies are so common here in NW Washington. However, last week on a trip to the Olympic Peninsula we saw five, yes 5 RED Westies in a row! Not traveling together like some secret society, just 4 during the 2 hour drive to the Park and then another one sitting in the campground. A bit weird even for this place.
