Your daughter has a darn good eye. Well done on positioning the van in negative space of the bikes.

Pretty van using a current color palette. The bike rack hygiene needs attention, although they get points for visible taillights.

Spotted one of the Holy Grails the other day parked near the south shore of False Creek.
1991 Full Camper GL Syncro in Flash Silver. It was rust free all 'round and appeared to be original paint. An exceptionally clean looking rig riding on on set of black 16" wheels and wearing BFG All Terrain T/A's.
No picture but I think we all know what they look like |

Boo, no pics! I might have seen a thousand of them, but I am always willing to take a gander at another.

I woke up to this rental Westy parked across the way from me while camping a few weeks ago just outside Rocky Mountain National Park in Roosevelt National Forest. The guy asked me if mine was slow going uphill, too.

Saw my twin going the opposite direction yesterday when leaving work. Then went to a vanlife meetup in PDX last night and finally saw why it gets the reputation of Vanagon-Land. _________________ 1985 Tintop 4 sp GW 2.3 “Connie”

Nope, this is a dispersed camping area in Roosevelt National Forest just west of the RMNP border. The area is called "Johnny Park", or actually, this is near the entrance to Johnny Park because the gate wasn't open yet to the really good dispersed camping. Many great camping sites in this area. _________________ Vanlife Geek

Just got back form a 2000 Mi trip from SF to Seattle and back, saw very few Westy's on the road. We did see a Blue 86ish Westy on the road ahead of me with some Kayaks on the top, sped up to say hello and the driver seemed very bored of the whole thing and just kept his eyes glued to road with just a slight glance.
I realize not all owners are enthusiasts, but this guy just looked bored.
