Hah - that's funny!! Those are mine and Patrick's vans on our way back from Mayne Island. Dixie's still not fully re-assembled but it was great to be camping again.

There was a beige Westy and a Eurovan in the Village Auto Repairs lot on Mayne, too.

Nice Vans! We were camping in our 76 Westy on Salt Spring Island and saw a good mix of Buses, Vanagons, and Eurovans. We were parked down in the closed deck but I was hanging out in the Pet room as we had the dog with us.

Very nice. It smelled so good there - and the ravens were very talky!

Yes! Both vans were on supports as that hill is pretty steep!

Balsam Mountain Campground in the Smoky Mountains NP. It was nice chatting with the owner who recently purchased it. It has an ej22 swap and a host of other upgrades. Climbing the mountains must have been a breeze!

Tricked out silver one parked just down the way from me.

Odd as usually my neighborhood only has two Vanagons per block. I don't know what is going on these days...

I mentioned it before but I'm still a lone duck in Reading Pa.

Not a Vanagon to be found.
I look behind houses, in repair shop parking lots..... nothing to be seen.

Maybe that's why I get so many comments from people, these simply don't exist here!
Or if they do, they are well hidden and not driven.

Dave

Always cool to see more vans in Chicago. I saw these when picking up my van at my mechanic in Ravenswood. Both weekenders and look well loved.

Hey, that’s me! Your van is super nice. I didn’t get a chance to snap a pic of them together since it was around sundown. I had it at VFC for a few weeks for some maintenance before my girlfriend and I did a 4500 mile road trip across Independence Pass to Aspen, Moab, SLC, Yellowstone, Badlands, and back to Chicago over 2 weeks.

Saw a few vanas but only got one good parking buddy photo:
