While technically not fog lamps, night becomes day with these bad boys!
Hella FF700 w/ H3 100w bulbs
I bought them from Pepboys for $75. Good investment.

Thanks Nigel for the information, what did you use for switches? |
For the British specification, 1973 VW "1600" Type 2, I've installed some additional VW Type 3 & 4 pattern, heated rear-window switches, with custom, home-made, coloured, acrylic lenses. These match the original switches on the dashboard, for which I had earlier substituted, VW Type 3 & 4 pattern switch-knobs to match.

Not LUCAS! I had a '95 range rover classic lwb county and every problem was directly related to the dreaded L company. |
From what I recall, the "LWB County", was a Landrover, not a Range Rover.
Interesting to note that you elected to purchase a British product, rather than an American one. I wonder why that was!?!
Electrical faults are the most common cause of breakdowns and poor running, which even Lucas-CAV, Bosch, Magnetti Marelli and other manufacturers' equipment have suffered. _________________ Regards.

I am always suspicious when retailers fail to specify a product's manufacturer and model designation. The low price does nothing to boost my confidence either.
Unless one simply wants to use them as ordinary daytime running lights, poor-quality front fog lights are not worth having! _________________ Regards.

The chrome job could be better, but they throw a lot of light. A low fan pattern, as is proper for fog.

There are a few holes on the bottom side of my bumper, which would make it extremely easy to wire in some fog lights.
However I have not seen any pictures of fog lights mounted on the bottom side of the bumper. Would this be a bad idea? _________________ 1978 Westfalia |

I have mine mounted on the bottom of the bumper and they actually look pretty good. As long as your bus isn't lowered they shouldn't be a problem mounted there.

Here you go. Hellas too! the best way to go, under the bumper for wide fan lighting. The lights shine under the fog and are mounted in the existing holes.

The flat ones are good for that and it works well for me. The ones on my truck are that style and mounted to the frame under and behind the bumper.
I wanted the big, round, retro-style on the bus though. They would get knocked around in the brush if they down there. |

These are the big, bad Bosch lamps that are going on my Westy. Haven't decided whether to mount them on the bumper or wait until I decide if I will mount a Roo bar and install them there. Kind of a toss up at this point.
I was planning of using the mounts you see in front, but they mount to the bumper bracket, so they will not work out.

Maybe a little over kill but I don’t think the fogs will last hanging down there.
