I would judge by the pics that it would be as easy if not easier to repair the problem than to replace the whole piece... Unless there is more to it than shown? Just trying to encourage ya.

repair area by just welding a plate to the the flat area on the bottom , the same size and thickness of the exisiting material . Do a small bead around perimeter and file , file and paime and no one will know the difference. I t beets cutting out spot welds preping the area and respot welding them on , it will never look factory , no matter how good you are .
