How is the baja?

Saw your pic after googling bugeye baja. I have been working on a 69 Baja that came with a bugeye that hadnt been installed. I started cutting on it last week. The fit of the hood and nose is really not very tight and I noticed on yours some gap on the hood and nose. there is a lot of gap on mine. Can you tell me a little about how you got it to fit as well as you did?
