i was busy today, installed my cheapo CTC stereo,
installed the shifter bushing that was missing - now i
can hear the stereo. then i plumbed in the oil
pressure guage - i had it working....

i'm a little unsure of where i should get the +ve
power for the guage? the instructions say it should
be 'switched'. i can teach the worst kids in the
world but i'm not much for auto electrics. where
should i get power? can i use the same source for the
soon to come oil temp and voltmeter?

kahuna

78 stock westy, job is now done, guage works great - interesting to watch. i bought a used vdo sender - two poles, one for the light, one for the guage.
the bushing is actually in front of the shift rod. mine was GONE! as a result the shifter rattled like h**l. all better now.
