| I want a high speed tranny for long drives I have a 71 stock single cab. I'm putting in a 2050cc. with this tranny. I can't find a pinion 3.88 for the truck only 4.5_ so how can I get it made or buffed out like I want it. I plan on towing with it so strong is a must. |

3.88 is for early pre-68 transmissions only. The tallest (and strongest) for the later transmissions is the 4.57.
Sounds like you need to choose between towing and high speed. You can't gear for both. |
