Picture perfect day in Ohio. Took my teenage grand-daughter for a long ride in the country. She loved it and so did I.

Was out driving Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Beautiful weather for Northern OH in November. Turned 70,000 mi on the Thing while out on Friday.
Started working on my winter project I picked up over the summer, a hardtop. Took off all the old bolts, brackets and trim. Took the convertible top off and test fit the hardtop to see which holes I need to patch. I should have it ready to go when spring hits.

Technically, I didn't do this "today" but this week.
Shaved the front turn signal from a fender, extended the rib - installing H4 buckets with integral signals.

Filled the stock taillights & patched some rot under the decklid - installing early bus taillights (rounds).

I finally reinstalled my budget rebuild front seats on Monday. It was 20 degrees out and snowy but went for a drive anyway. That marks the first time it has touched the snow since I've owned it and possibly just the 3rd driving it with both the top up and side curtains in.

The speakers that came with my 74 reminded me a lot of walkie talkies when I was a kid. I had some speakers & everything I needed laying around to build some retro boxes for them. There are a pair of old hard drive magnets under the carpet to keep them from sliding around but still quick to remove. I'm fortunate enough to have a laser engraver handy Very Happy
