Where's Jason when you really need him. He knows the prices on those kits, and what it costs to fill them (he's shown us plenty of pics). He's even got the roll around boxes full of tools.

That looks worse than the 71 Notch I got from Neil. Everyone on here thought it was too far gone, and I saved it. Cool If it hadn't been for the "superior" undercoating, there might not have been enough to save. Wink

Not sure that an original low mile unmolested car would fetch this much.

I think a super nice all original 62-65 Notch could.

But: I've had an upright engine in a Notchback I had a long time ago.
It is LOUD

I couldn’t even imagine. Also the heat that must come through the back seat.

I hate that Fautina crap, if you're going to fake patina at least do it right, don't run around with sandpaper randomly sanding paint off your car Evil or Very Mad

Or at least sand off the paint that should be on parts like the aftermarket I’d stick and rear hood lock. Just saying

So, 38K doesn't buy you any bumpers (depending on the pic) or windshield wipers, but it does buy an uneven car (right side sits higher than the left). It also gets you stationary cal look window seals.
Would be nice to see the inside though. I hate limited pics, as it shows that the owner isn't very proud of his/her car.

I hope this one actually sells; because I'm less than half as much $$$$ into mine as they're asking, and mine's way less crusty.

Mine doesn't, however, have cut wheel arches Embarassed

There’s just some parts of the country I don’t buy cars from. Period.

Yeah, those arches were scary, along with what surely lurks under those front fenders.

Why no engine pics? And I don't mean the engine parts visible in the frunk!

Minnesota is one of them. MNDOT uses more salt than a Lutheran cookbook.

Both my VWs are from Colorado.

Maybe Zack is just trying to live up to the 'crazy' part in his user name. Very Happy

But all kidding aside- this makes the 123 Ignition setup with digital trigger points that can't become oil fouled or wear out look like a screamin' deal!

I bought one, but haven't gotten to installing it yet. I am looking forward to it, though, from the reviews. I'll keep an original unit as an on-the-road spare, just in case.

I didn't find any others for sale, so maybe FI trigger pints are becoming uber-rare after all?

A clean, very original, little rust 63 notch for $7,250 in Germany which seemed like a good deal for how nice it looked. I read the description, no paper work and THE VIN NUMBER IS MISSING Shocked that doesn’t seem sketchy at all like it’s stolen
