If they can put it into a crate, I have several contact with freight forwarders that ship throughout Africa and Europe...

If this sells for anywhere near the asking price after Pedro's sold for under 25K, I just don't know what to say....

I interpret what was written as Pedros car is a much finer example than the posted ad. IF the owner of the ad gets what he wants for that, it would be an insult to a pristine car that deserves as much as you can get for it. I personally don't see $38K it. Don't miss-interpret the comments made.

How does that even get any cooling air? There's no deck lid stand offs, no side ducting, and the engine surround is plated off (separating the top from the bottom).
Oh, that's right I'm not supposed to ask those kind of questions. Wink

You can't really accurately compare them because the guy who would buy a super nice stock car probably wouldn't touch a modified car (even if it was a nice example).

That being said, I don't think this grey Notch is worth anywhere near $38k...

Same seller.

I don't take any of this pricing seriously. Any value or what anyone "thinks" is all speculative opinion. My comments included.

We will never have a good basis on old cars.

At least he took the time to write a lot on it. Where are the pics though? Hidden in the dialog that I missed?

So.....by the way..... the shipping on that "supposedly" NOS type 3 engine from Egypt....(looks too filthy in certain areas....maybe lightly used).......that 240,000....is in Egyptian pounds.

1 Egyptian poujd = 0.0551369 US Dollars. So the actual shipping cost was about $1,322......which is fairly reasonable for Egypt to San Francisco......based on combined weight and size.....also considering that there is probably some kind of crazy "palm grease" export tax.....and somehere in there was probably a fee to have yhe right stamps on the Pro-forma and customs documents. It also looks like a 65 or later motor. It has the cast aluminum distributor but an early muffler. May even be a 1600.

Priced around mid 20K right? I wonder what changed that makes it 38k? It looks pre 64 as well.

In 2015 it was $35000
In 2016 it looks it was $35000 again, then reduced to $29000

VIN # looks like June, 1964:
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

There are some attributes that look like 1962 to me though... high side markers, big button glove box, big 1500 out back, bullets up front, painted reflectors housing out back

$240,000 Dlls
was the quote from Fed Ex freight here
San Diego Ca

That
Engine is a 1964 n model
Just because has the 200 mm pressure plate

All N Models engines are side draft
Only items change are the muffler according the year the N Model
Sample. If this were a 65 or 66 the muffler would change
