Hello-

My understanding is that the early Okrasa kits came with Knecht air filters. I noticed these repros for sale (http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=601970). Are the Mann filters correct? If so, are original filters from Mann more or less common than the ones from Knecht?

Thanks,

Paul

I don't think they are correct.

Here is the original advert for a 36 hp kit.

The top should be flat.

I know that the flat top Knecht is the one that is mostly used (and I have them myself) and in all the old adds, but I also learned throu the years that parts varied sometimes and I still think that they could bee correct.

You might be right, but I would need to see them in period literature to be certain.
