Moderator notes:
September, 2010:
This user has had some reports of not responding to emails and being very slow to ship out parts, with no communication in the mean time.
He also has some other issues regarding returning money owed to buyers - please see posts on page 6 for details.
Keep this in mind if purchasing. |

It took me quite awhile to get the Bus sunvisor I bought- Was starting to get worried, but it finally DID arrive and was fantastic. I think it finally arrived three weeks later.
The merchandise seems to be great, but, as been stated before, he's not the fastest shipper on the planet. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

I got my item after 16 days, great part, at a good price, will buy from again, he could improve on the shipping practices though, maybe if he specified that he only ship certain days, I wouldn't mind waiting if I being notified of the delay! It's the uncertainty of not knowing if the package was shipped or not, that's what worry us buyers.
My 2 cents.

Had excellent communication with seller until I paid then slow going from there. The first shipping date was not done and after a couple of emails I finally received a response that it would be shipped two days later. Still have not received the item. I have sent few emails averaging every other day but still no response.
Updated: Seller contacted me today(11/10/2008) and promised that item would be sent this Friday. |

Paypal payment cleared on October 17, 2008 and I have yet to receive the purchased item or reply to my two e-mails from October 23 and November 4. It's been well over 4 weeks now and my patients to lack of response is running out. I'll give it another week. |

BUYER BEWARE. This guy always has a excuse and is a scammer. First he starts crying about getting a divorce. then he is traveling to texas, even had the excuse that DHL shut down. The purchase was for a front bench seat. I will gather all my emails from him and post them on this thread. |

I have had several dealings w/ Brooke. All have been positive. I do not think he is the crooked type.
Patience is key. Things happen sometimes. Give a little, take a little. Give the fella some slack. YOu can actually pester someone and piss them off when you get too anxious. |

Here is my reply as to why it takes so long. 1. This is my hobby not my full time job although I do make extra money at it. I already have a full time job. 2. When I post a bus for parts 20 different people may buy something from it that is still attatched and needs to be removed or cut off. That takes time. 3. I have had over 500 transactions between samba and ebay. I wish that everyone that was satisfied would post here as opposed to the 3 or 4 that have left a negative response 4. It takes time to weed through the 50 or 60 emails that I get per day. My phone number is posted on here so excuse me if it does not get answered all the time. It rings constantly. 5. Some people do not even put what they have paid you for on their payment whether it be a money order or Paypal. Try sorting through hundreds of emails trying to figure what this person has bought. Sometimes I have to wait until they contact me wondering where their part is 5. I have never ripped anyone off and no one can say that they did not get their part and were not satisfied in the end. I have gone out of the way to help some of these people. Keith Romer it did take me too long to ship your seat but you left out that I ended up having to drive it 45 minutes away to ship it for the price that I quoted. Tomasz I had to buy the part that I shipped you to fill your need because it was one of those rare occasions when 2 people bought it. One that had emailed a day before and did not pay and one that payed immediately. I would like to say that very rarely in this hobby have I ever been ripped off. I too have had to wait some time for parts and payments but it has almost always turned out for the good. Be patient and stop flipping out. You are not shopping at Wal-Mart. |

Oh and Richiemjr you left out that you sent me a check for $40 for a 64-67 bus rear glass that you wanted me to drive to you in New York if I was up that way. There was no feasable way of shipping you this glass for the amount of money that you wanted to spend. you grew too impatient even though I told you it may be a good amount of time before I was up that way or that I could find it a "ride" to you. You also left out that I also refunded your money by a check. |

By the way Keith Romer I told you that I was practically going through a divorce. I was never married but I have been in and out of court for the last six monts over a property dispute with my ex live in girlfriend. 2. DHL domestic has shut down that is why you got your parts via DHL Global Forwarding. They are operated as 2 different companies. There is not a DHL Global Forwarding in my area but there is a company that forwards their freight 45 minutes away. And by the way you forgot to come back and say that you did receive your seat just fine. |

Brooke has always come through with the parts I have needed with great prices and wonderful service. I am glad he took the time to defend his practices, as he has access to many common as well as hard to find parts that many of us need. Most of us know that shipping large and/or fragile items just takes time to make sure they arrive safely. Thanks Brooke.

I just wanted to take a moment to drop a note about Brooke. He is a stand up guy that has helped me out with many parts over the years. I just purchased a part for my '67 westy (og turn signal switch) that would have cost me double for a reproduction. He always has good communication, which means alot to me. Thanks for the great deal, Brooke. I appreciate all you do for the community.
