Driver (17) drunk
Amphibious car "capsizes" in the Tyrolean roundabout

With a strange vehicle, a 17-year-old driver's license holder had an accident on Sunday night in Kirchbichl (Tyrolean district of Kufstein). He and his two passengers (19 and 25) in an amphibious vehicle overturned when the drunk driver drove it through a roundabout.

At around 4.15 a.m. on Sunday morning, the 17-year-old and his co-driver were driving the car, which can also be used in water and has a drive screw, on the B171 in Kirchbichl. The driver's license holder then took the entrance to the Grattenbrücke roundabout a little too energetically: the vehicle overturned.

Test driver's license gone
All three occupants were able to free themselves from the wreck. After first aid at the scene of the accident, the rescue took her to the hospital in Kufstein. The young driver also had to undergo an alcohol test, which was positive. The 17-year-old lost his probationary license again.

Such a shame this has survived the war only to be smashed up 70 odd years later.

It looks like its held up well though. I'd hate to have been in the car when it crashed!

I can’t help but think the kid snuck it out for a joy ride and his parent(s) didn’t have any idea. I’ve seen this before with my brothers BMW and niece.

That can be fixed. It may take a bit more than polish.

There HAS TO BE a video of this. NO way were those kids trucking around at 4a.m. in a Schwimmer and NOT Instagramming it.

OMG Where's the clip!!?

There probably is, and the Police are using it for evidence! Does anyone know the owner?
