I'm just curious if this type of accessory was ever offered (OE or repop) for the Type 3. _________________ Mike S.

Whatta jack-ass. I'm almost tempted to see about sourcing a T1 version & making my own plexi lens sized fo the T3. _________________ Mike S.

Well, I stole the picture from Wolfsburg West, so I imagine they offer/offered one. Sourcing the plexi would be the easy part. It's the brackets that would be the issue. _________________ Mike S.

I found it, but out of stock. Thank you, now I have something to add to the list for Father's gifts (trying, and succeeding (interested and wants to get it running (needs garage)), in getting Father to drive the Beetle (likes having a radio (done) and night mirror). _________________ Please consider I am Autistic, so I process information differently and still working on social skills. What do you guys think of this one? it is not a clip on but attaches on the mirror with a double adhesive sticker.
Looks like a simplified version of the Fulton Shade.

This pic looks to already be a day-night mirror (tab at bottom of glass frame).

Because ghia shades were never available, I made one for myself based off these photos, and a few extras for type 3 mirror shape. Ive got a few sets of each. Checking the interest level to see if i should buy a large sheet of plexi to throw on the WJ to cut..

Well, I'd be interested in 1, as I've been looking (not too hard) for 1 for about 10 years. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof
