I'm going to have to buy a new axle, but the inside spacer is stuck on the old axle. I can't seem to find the right spacer kit anywhere. I've searched the other forum threads for an easy answer, but can't find it.
Is the spacer kit Thing specific, or will any IRS spacer kit work? Thanks. _________________ You get what you get, and you don't throw a fit.

Same spacers on ALL IRS Beetles and Things _________________ --- The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at and repair.

BTW, does the Thing share the stub axle with only the 944? _________________ You get what you get, and you don't throw a fit.

As far as I know it's Thing ONLY.
But....
Send kubelman a PM, he'll know. _________________ --- The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at and repair.
