well, Rick said "don't worry, they're on their way" & i doubted him after reading some of the posts on here... but they showed up.

when i looked into the tracking from the Mexican Post Office, they are SUPER SLOW!!! my package sat in his local PO for about a week before getting sent to another one in Mexico... where they sat for ANOTHER week before being shipped to the USA. not at all his fault.

He kept in contact with me - addressed every concern.. i would do business with him again, but next time i'm paying for FedEX! Smile

I bought a Rendsburg Hood Crest from him http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=724614 , he shipped it 2 weeks after he got the money, three weeks later i got a hood crest, a BRAUNSCHWEIG!!! http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=724098

I wrote him that he send me the wrong one and made a complaint to paypal. No answer, only that he wont send the money back.

I just got a bambus tray from Rick. It shipped the day after payment was received and arrived at my house packed extremely well just a few days later.

I can only speak of my experience with Rick, and based on that, I would buy from him again.

The tray was NOS and exactly as he described.

I hope my recent experience puts some folks at ease.

IT'S LITERALLY NOW BEEN MORE THAN ONE YEAR AND IN OCTOBER RICARDO POSTED HERE STATING HE WOULD REFUND MY MONEY BECAUSE HE NOW HAS BEEN REFUNDED BY THE POSTAL SYSTEM HOWEVER

STILL NOTHING NO EVEN A RESPONSE EVEN EVERETTE CONTACTED HIM ON MY BEHALF BUT NO ACTION FOR MY $245- THAT HE HAS HAD MORE THAN ONE YEAR.

Yes, this has gone on too long - He also agreed last month to a refund within a few days.

He has been emailed a deadline to provide a refund.
After that deadline he will be banned until this is resolved.

I wish i would have read all of this feedback before purchase on May 2 2012. I bought a pair of the running board protectors and some re-chromed stock type1 bumper gaurds. Multiple emails - get a few replies from shipped 2 weeks ago - too i have been in surgery and will get your tracking info to you asap... Still nothing.... Losing hope here... if ANYONE can help me - i would greatly appreciate it. Shocked

Well..... I spent $1,700 on few items about 5 months ago. Haven't seen my items yet. No tracking information. I don't even know if this guy shipped my items or not. Everret, please suspend his account until he takes care these issues.

Guys , i spent US220 on a set of tail lights. One and a half years passed, with no sign of the lights from Rick of Mexico.

If not for the intervention of Everett Barnes, i could have kissed my money goodbye. Thankfully with Everett's intervention, i finally got my tail lights. only after Everett asked Rick to "take a break from this site'. Next time, if in doubt, better ask Everett first or read the feedback on all sellers. !

Everett, you rock man !! Thanks a million. Cool

PS. Do contribute once in a while to this site guyS! .. very enlightening VW site.

In a past dealings with Ricardo, I ordered and received my items very quickly. That lead me to do business with him again.
I now wish I had seen and followed this feedback forum.
I have waited 6 weeks, with no sign of my paid for items.
Quick to communicate to my messages, he always say's "Oh Don't Worry, I'll take care of things"
How sad that someone in the VW community can be so uncaring and represent themselves as a great seller, yet have 15 pages of comment, a greater percentage being negative.
Now I am placed in the situation of going thru Pay Pal to see if I can get my parts or my money back.
