Have these two aswell. They are made for the HO slot car sets such as Faller and Aurora / AFX , by the German company Bauer in the mid 1990's.
They made a range of slot cars including other VW's such as the type 1 KG.
There are a few colour variations, including a yellow German Post squareback and a red squareback. They haven't made any Fastback or Type 34 ghia versions though.

I picked up a jimson 630 police notchback yesterday ! Its a plastic friction car kinda neat

The back end of that pair looks a little like the ca. 1958 Porsche 726 prototypes here. Vents aren't the same, though. Just doesn't look like a notch in the back.
