Will a late model fuel injected exhaust fit on a normally aspirated motor? |

A chrome one will bolt up nicely, but the painted ones don't line up correctly.
You will have to shove a potato in the exhaust tip so it can build up horsepower. When you hear the potato shoot out like a cannonball that means the exhaust is correctly fitted to the engine. |

Assuming you are talking about a beetle, the simple answer is "it depends." Smog laws may not allow it where you live. carbureted exhaust systems are designed to bolt up to manifold heat risers, which a fuel injected car does not have, so a later exhaust may not work on an earlier car. |

Thank you mbugz60, for that shining example of why it is important for kids to breath clean air when they are young. |

If you are an aircooled mechanic you should have answered the question, or maybe exhaust systems aren't your specialty. |

For the best results use the big baking potato. |

mbugz, if you will reference the "superbeetle" forum, you will find that I did answer his question. |

I stand corrected. You did answer his question. I seldom go to the sb forum.
You never did say where you can find clean air. Down here in Louisiana you can see the cancer floating in the air. |

I think you can still find clean out in the wilderness of Alaska, or maybe when you are 100 miles out to sea??? |
