I need to get a set of VW labeled caps for some mangel wide 5s. Where is the best place to get a set? Not sure if I should go on eBay, local shop or what.

Thanks!

Are you using flat hubcaps or the moon hubcaps?

Do you want repro or OG" I think the german ones are unobtainium, but Rudi has both types german listed without pictures and priced at 'POA'

Also available from the UK

Not sure exactly what you are looking for but these guys are good to deal with and seem to have a pretty good supply of high quality/OEM/OG parts.

I remember Scott Dempster from KGPR sending out an email letting people know that he planned to start importing the 5 wide hubcaps and chroming them. You might call KGPR and see it that ever happened.

Also, do you have your original wheels? Not certain but I think that the 66 has a 1 year only pattern that is worth saving . . .

They are a one off wheel with flat cap and I am keeping the wheels and caps but I want a wider tire and wheel.

hard to find the old half-moons in a heavy steel with a decent finish. I know I bought House of Ghia's last set of 4, and they were about the same price as a custom wheel!
