I'm installing a new flywheel on my 1600 and about to set the endplay.. It's a rebuilt motor, and had three shims when i took the old flywheel off..

Using a dial indicator, two shims measured about .010in or .240mm each and the third, closest to the bearing measured about .006in or .152mm

From what i've read in the forums, shims only come in .24, .30, .32, .34, .36 mm sizes.
Is this a special shim or is it just worn? I'm going to start with the two .24mm shims, and calculate the third shim to set the endplay.. i was just wondering if this shim is useable incase i need it.

thanks!

If the shims dont look discolored or warped?
I'd say they make a thin shim (should still be smooth and shiny)
No scoring

Your on the right track 2 shims and check the thickness for the 3rd
