Anybody know what size the washers are? need to shim my bowden tube. Im getting a nasty shutter in 1st. The the bowden tube has very little bend in it.

need to know the inner and outter diameter size . how thick should I make them?

got a laser here at work so I want to burn a few today.

its a stock 57 oval if that makes any differance.

thanks

I want to say it's a 1/2 inch hole that is needed. I used stacked washers and they worked great.

1/2 inch sounds about right. Just measure diameter of the metal rear end of the bowden tube.

Any hardware store would have em. While you are in there check the nuts and front tranny mount. On mine nuts kept digging into the mount and backing out. A pair of flat and locking washers fixed it.

1/2 inch washers are what you need. IIRC the proper spacer would be 12mm, but that is .47" so...

0.47 should be the opening in the washer.

1/2 inch ID washer and cut a slot in the side big enough to slide over the clutch cable....Saves you the time to reinstalling the cable and more if it were to come unhooked from pedals up front.
