it's a good show, you should go. it's usually pretty big considering the region. |

Damn good show.
They don't charge if you want to bring stuff to sell.
I am going to try to make it. |

They get about ~100-120 VWs
the location is nice the back of a German/bavarian restaurant
it's free to show, and they offer overnight camping (tents & VW campers)
but it's primitive (there's a porta_john)..
I checked your location and there's also 2 other upstate NY shows you may be interested in .. Rochester & Syracuse may be easier to get to then Buffalo. Show Flyer
Rochester has the Bug Bust on August 3rd in Webster Highschool parking lot. Show Flyer
Syracuse is August 10th at Oneida Shores county park (Brewerton, NY)
SHow Flyer
Also you may be interested in a fall VW event Westies @ Watkins Glen
it is primarily a campout event, but many come down for just the sunday noon run on the track.. at Watkins Glen Intl Raceway.. take a look in my gallery for a image of VW campers on the track.
or drop me a Pm for any additional info for any of the Upstate NY VW shows.

Another good time this yr. camping was great weather held out. Good turnout of cars and a real nice threesome of early 356s. this show is in a great location we need to see a bigger turnout of split buses. what else can I say??? oh! and its a free show all around!! wish I got to walk around a bit more and take some pics but heres a few from camping.
Gene(Franksmarket) and my girl danielle offering up a rack of ribs.
Took my 66 camper this yr.
Genes bus on the cruise home.
Gene good times as always, thanks for cooking.(WHERE DO YOU KEEP YOUR SPARE?) Good to see you Ben as always hold that cooloer for me. Fred Thanks for leaving without sayin goodbye AHHH... see you around the shop, hope Gersons order gets here monday. a bit to hot for me and the dog today, but still good times and great turnout of cars. anyone know the final count? nice to meet with Bob(busnutbob) and his wife such nice kind hearted couple. Thank you to everyone that makes this show possible. |
