A pair(used) of the fresh air fans that go in the ducts. The yard was asking $125 each (seriously - they based their price on the selling price of the parts from VW). I suggested that at $125 each, they'd have them forever. I offered $50 for both fans and the switch, and they took it. They were in good shape, and I'm still using them. _________________ '78 Sage Green California Westy 'Ludwig Van'

Cedar Rapids, IA
The guy is supposed to call me later today after he talks to his wife, I was going to go listen to the Vanagon and drive it maybe. I'm on the fence about it. Iowa+Rust=Certain death. The Bay window body looks like it had been gone through at one time, that paint isn't original is it? and the bumpers are missing... I don't know about running condtions, I'll ask. Its about 3 1/2 foot deep full of stuff on the inside, vw parts etc....and a flat tire. It was moved to this location on a flatbed. SO i imagine its more of a shed at the moment...love the rack....won't fit on my ghia. _________________ 1969 Ghia

I sure wish I was closer (Michigan). I'd take it. I'm not really concerned about originality I just love buses. |

got a call a few weeks ago asking if i buy vw's. i said yes, what do you have? the answer: a 1969 bus, needs fuel pump to run. how much? 600.00. i go look and offer 500.00, he takes it, after replacing the fuel pump and carb, she runs but needs some wiring done, coil is wired directly to the battery, it has the early yellow (2pc, haha) fuse box. its actually a 1970, built in 9-69.
