So.. if you went to the dealer in the 60's, in the US, to buy a new bumper blade, would they hand you one with overrider holes in it, or would you have to drill them yourself if you had us spec; or live with holes in your euro blade if you didn't have overriders?
Or could you choose?

what part number did you give them? the item you needed was looked up in a parts manual and pulled from stock or order went to a central warehouse to be shipped to dealership requesting the part number. 2 different part numbers for holes or no holes.

Really? That's pretty progressive for the times. I wouldn't have expected an option.
