Here is a photo of the rear seat support bar from one end of the bar...
Here is a photo of the entire bar (removed from my '59 DC rear seat bottom during recent upholstery work)...
Hope that helps... I thought I had an extra one, but it may have only been this one that I have?

This thread has been very helpful, especially the photos of the support bar posted by Bullibar. When the upholsterer gave me back my bar he couldnt remember where it went! Duh. "I can't repsect that"
Now my only Q is, does the long side of the J go to the back or to the front? Thanks |

when did they start putting the bar acros the rear seat..im guessing april for sure being bills has one...my dec.58 dc doesnt have the bar...my 67 dc does because i remember taking it off and putting it back on after the wife sewed up the seats for it
bill....does yours have the seamed roof...from my understanding jan was the last month for the roof but the gates was still seamed...correct me if im wrong...
