Good that the rack didn't go flying off too |
He had some injuries to his hand and some injured teeth and cuts, but overall nothing very serious considering the shape of the front of the bus. Collision was between 40-60 mph, he went to stop and brakes locked up rear ending the vehicle ahead of him. _________________ 1979 VW BUS

Were were driving back to Illinois from a beach visit to Florida.
North end of Dothan Alabama:
We were pulling into a gas station as you were pulling out.
A couple hours later, as we were pulling onto I-65 north from Route 231 in Montgomery:

Shit, that's Hunter, Hannah, and their bus Luna! We camped together a few days after you spotted them! I don't have any pictures from that, but did grab this one at BBB in January.

I'm drawn to the patina'd white Westy.
It shows it has a history, has been on numerous adventures and is greatly appreciated. _________________ -Kent-

Spotted this Late Bay Westy on the Way to a meeting this afternoon. Looks to be in great shape/recently painted and I like the white/green colour mix.
