altered center of gravity ticket? thats a new one to me!

It is an usually un-enforced law used to deter the crazy lifted trucks of the day. Made my truck have almost no value.

Bad luck man. Take pics.
Don't drive the truck to court, but I'd trailer it there, if you can.

If it's a fix-it ticket, then go with some bushwacker fender flares....get it signed off.

Cop must have had a bad day....maybe no nooky in a while Laughing

I've seen alot more radar guns out there too. I'd just call Mr. Ticket. I'd recommend him any day. Helped me out once. Cool

Copper, I guess it could have. But it did get a lot of young ladies who wanted a ride in the bumpy truck, which would occas lead to other things. Twisted Evil

I'd like to hear from anyone, ANYONE, that has gone to court hoping the officer would not show and get lucky and actually have them not show...
First, you have to show for the hearing then ask for another court date. When they set it up, they look at the officer's schedule and schedule the court date accordingly. Plus, the cops get, or used to get 4 hours o/t just for court appearences. I used to try this. I had a sport bike in my younger days and got LOTS of tickets. Cops ALWAYS showed up.

Not to burst ya'lls bubble. But if you read the mud flap law, not only must all tread must be covered but 50% of the back of the rear tire must be covered unless you have factory tires and unaltered fenders.

well you can just pay the fine of $150 or spend money trying to remedy it and then pay the $10 fee. You don't have to fix it if you pay the $150(or whatever the actual value is). Or you can get fender flares that are probably gonna cost about the same in the long run.

Depends on how worried you are about getting pulled over again. I actually keep my last fix it ticket(for tinted tailights) in the car next to my registration. I got pulled over at 12:45am(ya, late night workin on the baja!) earlier this week for my tailights again. I assume he just wanted to see if i was drinking. I said i already had a ticket for them and he let me go. He didn't ask when it was from, I paid it off a couple of months ago.
