Just wondering how many of you VW enthusiasts also ride Dirt Bikes. MX, Trail, Desert or Trials. Lets see your ride. For me its trail, B class scrub

I would love to be riding...I just dont have any money or time.
Maybe one day when Im done with school and the boy is old enough to ride with me. When I was young I used to own some Hodakas...I just liked them cause they were different...I know they are old and slow, but I enjoyed hitting the ole trails and stuff like that.

Cool, I used to own a 99 Beta 250 Techno. Was never competitive, but had alot of fun with it. I wanna get a Scorpa w/ the 250 Yamy 2 stroke.

Was the 99 the first year they updated the frame? (similar to mine, just smaller) Great bikes IMHO, very well thought out and made.
I dig the Scorpas too, but my eye is on the new 4 stroke one

I believe it was 2000.
Heres a pic of mine. I sold it about 3 years ago. I hated to do it but I needed the money at the time.

i do...have been since i was 3. learned on a little 50 and moved up. i now ride a YZ250..with exhaust, bars, re geared it and now i max it out at 90mph i love to ride desert and trails.

i raced competitively in the early 90's (teen years). all i ever wanted to be was a pro mx/sx'r. i worked my way thru the ranks in the 125 class never quite turning pro but i was fast. today im 31 with a few extra pounds but i swear i can still whip a dirt bike around. i also raced quads back then too.
heres me in my mid 20's out in glamis. you can see how into it i am by my quality riding outfit!

haha i have a jersey and pants and all that...but sometimes its WAY too hot to wear that stuff...heres me...sorry shity pic...
got a empi shirt on and army cut off pants
taken at el mirage last year during the SCTA races..those were fun to watch

I got a little dirtbike, its a 2003 Honda XR70, i have hardly ridden it as it is just to hot, i also have a 2000 Honda 400ex that i ride at glamis all the time, my dads got a rail so we go to glamis more than anything.

I ride a 2007 Honda CRF450X in the desert. Precision Concepts suspension, stabilizer etc!!! I just came off of a 2000 KX500 everything done had it since new. I started on a Steens Taco 22 minibike in 1976 that i still have today!!

Shit that CRF is scary fast. I rode my friends and almost soiled myself. That must be a blast in the desert.
