Thanks Guys for the coments.
The car came with all of the original papers when delivered new in January 1956.
I will be the 3rd owner of that car.

I really love this car but just out of curiosity has the car got a narrowed front beam?perhaps lowered at some stage?
Cant be many in this condition ,it looks like a real time warp car. Cool

yes front beam is narrowed and unfortunatelly OG beam was definitively out when I got it.

My plan is to keep it with OG wheels, then I do not care about narrowed stuff. The good thing is that it stands very well as it is with good proportions kept.
Perhaps in the future I will invest in an OG 56 stamped front beam but what I want to do at the moment is to enjoy it as it is, and the original 36 hp works perfectly.
The interior is in outstanding original shape, seats are firm, top canvas boot (not shown on pics) is in perfect condition.
What impressed me with that car is that there is not rust, just few spots of surface rust inderneath. Even the battery area has NO hole of rust just surface rust that shows its usage through time.
About seals they all look original, some are cracked, some a dried through time, seals around all of the doors are in perfect OG shape, the ones around window are in some point craked but still there alive present on the car.
About the opening doors, there is no play at all, all of the original pieces are there, they both align prefectly including front VS rear windows.
About the top that is the same, one single person can easily open and close it in few seconds

I think that vert and my lowlight could be considered as time warp cars.
My lowlight is in even more higher OG shape, interior looks just like new with a litle hole on drive seat material.

Hey Claude, thanks !!

When Yves gets his new 57 oval ride ready for the road we will probably take a ride up to your place.

Also if you pass through Quebec you will know what to do.

Cheers.

Jérome,
With all the ovals popping out in the area it will put some pressure on me to start the 56 after the current project!

As we can see there is some stain caused by humidity, but material is still solid and not teared.

Last weekend I also re adjusted e-brake.

This weekend I will adjust front wheel caster / camber and refill brake fuild.

If all is fine perhaps I should be able to drive it by the end of July Smile
