some of the latest update over the past weekend.

I installed the rear brake plate with bearing holder torked to 32 punds,
adjusted the spring plate to 13 degree per og spec
and adjusted the hand brakes.

Where did you get the OG spec from? I can't find it in the Bentley manual and a search here does not produce any results.

page 57 et seq. - see 'rear axle and transmission' as well 'lubrication and maintenance-specifications' in the workshop manual 1952-1957 (german edition)

gtailoc, did you have to adjust the inclination due to car lowering in the past?

I am currently working on the rear fender,
removing the dust and old gravel protection inside the fender and going back to bare metal.

My plan is to not repaint the outside of the fenders and keep the imperfections to match with the rest of the car.

yes I used AC1920 durapro contact cement, same process a the origin.
I also re-installed sheet metal nail the same as de origin

Latest progress on the car,
I finally completed the painting of the remain body elements:

I strated with the inside of the rear fenders 2 coats of epoxy primer and 2 coats of black paint

Yes happy of the result, there was some previous bodywork made on the rear left fender. Looks like the inside was hammered with a pic hammer but I preferred to keep it as his and not redo the whole fender.

Final step was to do a bit of cut and buff:

My process to get a smooth finish:
800/1000 - 2000 - 3000 - and 2 pass of csi polish with 6" buffer

That's where I am as of today. all done with my 2 hands !!

I decided that I will polish the whole exterior of the car.
