Again, NICE WORK! I feel like a scratched record.

And is this really the end of the metal work or……?

yes it is the last big thing to fix, there will be just the 2 cap to close the end of the 2 re-inforcement rails to consifer the metal work done on the car.

I hope to be finished with it by the end of next week.

after that it will be cleanup and prep for epoxy and paint.

here is the floor pan I just cut and positioned ready to weld. now that the project is almost over I am getting pretty good with cut and panel fitment with almost perfect gap.

I just completed the welding of the floor pan, it was the last piece I needed to weld on the car.

here is the end result. I am happy on where I landed that floor pan section:

it take a lot more time when you need to get each side as clean as possible

That is an unthankful job! So….thank you for sharing!

Looking great. I really like the way raw exposed wire wheeled steel looks! Too bad oxidation is an issue.

doing the underneath head upside down was not a fun job at all, I did it over 2 weeks time frame in chunk of 1-2 hours each time. I consider it 99% done, and will do the final surface prep and cleanup prior epoxy.

I will continue to post progress.
